Halloween at the Dog Park

Calling all pooches!! Halloween Party Alert at the Dog Park (at the end of  Summerside Grande Boulevard SW (1505 70 St. SW) 

Grab your costume and bring your human to the Dog Park on Halloween (October 31, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.)   There will be hot chocolate for them, and dog treats for us. Come see how your friends are dressed and have some fun.

Horizon Bloomed

Horizon is Blooming

Thanks to all the neighborhood gardeners for your efforts to showcase nature's beauty. We had many homes recognized throughout the area nominated for Horizon is Blooming. Congratulations to all the gardeners.


Complete Body Yoga - Fall 2025

Complete Body Yoga resumes Thursday, October 30th for 10 weeks. 

Dates: October 30 to December 18, January 8 and January 15.
Time: 7 to 8 p.m
Location: Knottwood Community League Hall (449 Knottwood Rd. West NW.)

Community League members pay $75.   Drop in available.

Temporary Dog Park Extended to October 31, 2025

The agreement for the temporary dog park was extended by the City of Edmonton allowing the Horizon Community League to keep the fencing up to October 31, 2025.

Community volunteers and Dog Ambassadors will keep the gate accessible through winter. Park users need to keep the park clean for the enjoyment of all.
